Antipodes (pl. n.) - places at opposite sides of the world.

We are the antipodes

of the world we created

Two places apart

We run to find each other

on this same axis we’re in

but never managed to meet

We’re the sun and moon

both destined to unsee each other

but the effects

of your known existence

lit the world

we both created

I’m a prehistoric being

You’re the futuristic one

We’re both time bounded

held solely by

this world we had created
