Assumptions

Is it possible

that after all the pain

the scars healed and wounded again

our hearts would no longer love?

Is it possible

that after the fights and make-ups

the sleepless nights and shared hugs

our hearts would learn to give up?

Is it possible

that after the silent and unknown cries

the hurt and sacrifices we chose to hide

our hearts would become cowards?

Is it possible

that after the tests and trials surpassed

there is only one we cannot pass?

because our hearts would no longer move forward.

If it is possible

then let's ask our hearts to love lastingly

teach our hearts to hold on enduringly

Help our hearts become brave enough

and to move forward without ever wanting to stop.
