"The Lovers"

The moment she walked out,
She felt daggers stabbing her heart...
There was a glimpse of doubt,
Feeling like she didn’t want to be apart...
She felt his eyes watching her,
As she took her step away...
Instinct made her stop and look,
Then she saw him came rushing towards her way...
She looked at those eyes,
The eyes of the man she fell in love with...
At the same moment she realized,
She didn’t really want to leave...

Seeing her leave,
Cuts him like a knife...
His heart started to bleed,
As his eyes watch her walk out of his life...
Tears fell down rapidly,
Seeing his past with her flash back before his eyes...
He stood up to reach for her when he saw her stop,
It was now time for him to decide...
He looked at her, full of emotions,
This is the girl he loves...
He would never ever want to leave her,
‘Cause she’s all that he had ever wanted to have...

There is no more need for words,
Their heartbeats imply comprehension...
And so it’s the end of the poem,
But not of the lovers’ affection...  :)
