"Trying Hard to Forget"

 I'm trying hard to forget you,
forgetting the love I have for you.
 I know it isn't that easy,
 to forget someone who you have loved truly.




 The moments we've spent with each other,
 were the moments I'll keep in my heart forever.
 And the only person I'll keep in my heart,
 is the only person who I have loved from the start.


 It was you, I know,
 just a look in your eyes, it shows,
 It has meant for me to love you,
 but destined also to forget you.


 It broke my heart easily,
 knowing you're not the one for me.
 And it almost made me cry,
 when you bid your sweet goodbye.


 Forgetting you is really hard to do,
 for I have loved you through and through
 with all my heart  if you ever knew,
 I'm trying hard to forget you.
